Our goal is to help our patients keep their natural teeth for the rest of their life. Because of this, we always encourage our patients to maintain proper oral hygiene.
Oral Hygiene is all about taking care of the teeth, gums and the mouth. At-home maintenance includes brushing and flossing your teeth twice a day and eating a balanced diet. But to properly care for your teeth, you also need to get professional Cleanings. Our dental hygienist is trained to completely get rid of plaque and tartar buildup which cannot be removed with mere brushing alone.
In addition, we will examine your gums and teeth for any signs of gum disease or tooth decay so that it can be treated before it gets worse.
The American Dental Association recommends that you get professional dental cleaning at least twice a year.
