Meet The Staff

Carl Shoemaker, M.S.
Carl Shoemaker graduated from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. He received a Masters degree in psychology in 2007. He has been in the field of customer service since 2002, and specifically with dental administration since 2011. Carl joined this office in 2015.

He enjoys hiking and listening to music. He is married and has a child named David who shares his birthday.


Jessica Waters, CDA

Jessica has been dental assisting since 2011. She completed the Hudson Valley dental assisting program in 2016. Jessica loves doing outdoor activities on Lake George and spending time with family and friends. Jessica also enjoys hiking with her dog Dutch.


Susan Campbell, CDA
Susan Campbell graduated from Rochester Dental Assisting School.  Upon graduation her career took an unexpected turn and she began a 25 year career in law enforcement.  After retiring she re-entered the dental field and has been a part time dental assistant in our office for the past 6 years.

She enjoys hiking and spending time with her two daughters.


Dawn Ferris, RDH
Dawn is originally from Massachusetts. She graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 1977 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked in a prosthetic dental practice for most of her career, until she moved to Lake George with her husband, Jody, and their two youngest child, Joey and Isabella. Dawn enjoys boating and other activities on the lake.

She loves working on home improvement projects in her free time!


Dagmara Vitti, RDH
Dag is the newest addition to our hygiene team. She is originally from Poland, and has lived in the US since 1998. Dag graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in Connecticut as a dental hygienist for the past 14 years. Last year she moved to the Adirondacks with her husband Mark, and their dog Frankie.

Dag enjoys quiet country living, gardening, and her new chickens!


Kristin Howarth, RDH
Kristin joined our practice in 2013. She is originally from the Boston area, and received her degree in dental hygiene from Middlesex Community College in 1998. She is a licensed practitioner in both New York and Massachusetts.

She worked as a full time dental hygienist and chair-side surgical assistant for over 5 years in the Boston area, focusing on periodontics and dental implants, before moving to Glens Falls.

Kristin is especially comfortable in the dental visit for the special needs patient, since she is also a mom of twin boys with autism.
After her children’s diagnosis, she founded the Upstate NY Autism Alliance, a local non-profit organization focusing on awareness, education and resources for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders in the Capital District.

She attends regular dental lectures and conventions, and has been an invited panelist on topics of dental care and autism.

She is an avid New England sports fan and enjoys spending time at the ocean with her husband and children.


Bethany Fletcher, RDH
Bethany graduated from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY in 2016 with a certificate in dental assisting, a certificate in dental hygiene and an associates in applied science. Bethany has been practicing dental assisting and dental hygiene for 3 years and strives to leave every appointment having taught each patient something new. Bethany loves DIY projects, Zumba, and hiking. Bethany is always seeking ways to learn more about her profession and aspires to continue her education for the benefit of her patients.
